Elliette and Colton are 18 months old today. That is easier to say than one and a half years. Here is what a morning with two 18 months old is like. While I am changing their sheets, they sweetly rock in the chair.

Then it is time to sweetly rock the ottoman together.

So much for sweetly. Ellie needed her space.

So Colton looks to his lion for companionship and conversation. He is talking to him. I couldn't get a shot of him kissing its nose.

And Elliette goes to her haven. The shoe draw. She LOVES shoes!

She selected her gold maryjanes. Notice she already has on her favorite pink Crocs. But a girl has the option to change her mind, right?

Colton enjoys a good read in the pack-n-play while I am in the shower. They both love books. I bet 80% of our playtime is spent reading. This is one of his favorites, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, by Eric Carle.

Ellie likes to toss out toys so she can throw them back in once she is freed.

Am I lucky or what? I have enjoyed all their stages. But 18 months is really fun!

love 'em! dang ellie has a lot of shoes. that doesn't bode well for your pocketbook. next she'll be on christian louboutins ...
In all fairness, our shoe draw has both Colt and Ellie's shoes. But yes, they do have a lot of shoes. I am scared I have begun to transfer my own shoe obsession to my daughter.
She does have a lot of shoes! i like those red ones.
