Birthday Cake Pics

Here are some birthday cakes pictures. They are the only ones of the party because I video taped the presents being opened. We had a great party Saturday night. Thanks to all our friends and family who celebrated with us.

Colton was very calm when his cake was presented to him. But he did blow out the candles like a champ. He enjoyed the eating part much more than the being sung to portion. Elliette took it all in. She wasn't too sure what to do with the lit candles. But after Colton blew his out, we gave her another shot. I hope her wish comes true. She is a much more dainty diner. Sweet Korri with sweet Ellie. I know they will be close forever. On Tuesday night, we went over to Mimi and Pops' for birthday hamburgers. You can NOT beat Mimi's burgers. YUMMO!This time Ellie was excited to blow out her candles on her cupcakes. (She helped Mimi decorate them.) She also sang Happy Birthday to herself.Practice makes perfect. I love this shot. What a big girl.
Colton was ready, too. While we were singing, he eagerly banged his hands on the table as if to say "just put it down already."What a pro. Happy 2nd birthday Colton!
