First Binoculars

My friend Kim S. in Houston made these with her twin boys, and shared the idea on her blog. I started saving toilet paper rolls right away. I am wanting to start doing more crafts with my kiddos. So if you know of any two-year old safe crafts, please send them my way. Thanks Kim for sharing this one. Very fun.
Checking out the moon and the birds through the binoculars.

Then Elliette had to investigate the construction trucks at the park a little closer.

Hey girl - been meaning to leave some craft ideas I have done with Kennedy at that age. We made crowns/tiaras out of paper and also out of foam sheets and decorated with stickers. We traced her body on a roll of butcher paper and she thought that was so fun! Then I drew out the shirt and shorts and had her color them - then we cut "her" out. So cute. Also, you could get out the paint brushes and start them painting anything - paper, rocks, wood boxes, etc. The finger painting did not work well for us at this age bc she wanted to put her hands in her hair. If I think of anything more specific, I will let you know. I also love the website that Malissa wrote down. Tons of great ideas!
