Uncle Poprock (Patrick) came through like a champ and helped mow our lots Sunday. We had to have them mowed by the end of the month. So of course we waited until the very last hours of the month to get it done. Colton was so excited about riding the tractor. Ellie talked big about riding it until she heard the engine and quickly changed her mind. But not Colton.
If allowed, Colton would have mowed the whole evening. He was in his element.
B mowed the five acres adjacent to the dealership a couple of nights later. When Colton heard Daddy was going to drive a tractor, he had to be there. We even ate dinner an hour early just so he could ride with Daddy. Once again, Ellie told us she too wanted to ride on the tractor. And once again, she immediately said, "Me no tractor" when she actually saw it. Oh well, to each their own.
