"Ar-pees"

Ellie woke from her nap yesterday, rubbed her eyes, and asked for "Arr-pees?" When she asks for people, I always tell her where they are: "Da-da is at work. Mimi is at her house." But I don't think she understood when I told her Uncle RP is in Iraq. It was even hard for me to say aloud. We so enjoyed the time we spent with him over the holidays. But man, does the time fly when RP is home. I only hope that the next 6-7 months will go by quickly, also. Here are a few with him pics I want to share.
Cheese, please?
Besides reading to them, feeding Colt and Ellie cheese is a sure fire way to get on their good sides. Uncle RP is a smart man.
He taught the lil' ones to hold their utensils upright and bang on the table while chanting, "Mimi! Mimi! Mimi!" We were patiently waiting for Christmas dinner.
A little down time to play with the new car track on Christmas day.
Can you tell Ellie liked her Christmas gift from RP?!? It is a dancing animal band that plays a loud and quite obnoxious tune. Thanks RP.
RP put Ellie's kitchen together. From what I understand, it took MANY frustrating hours and had over 150 screws! That is a devoted uncle.
We went on a carriage ride through Highland Park to look at the Christmas lights. So much fun. Uncle Zach is behind my big head. Sorry Zach. And I think B and Ellie were singing. Or just really amazed at the lights.
RP and Grandad Maco at Christmas dinner at Chris and Michelle's home.
Colton needed a little boost to reach the bars. Just chilling and 'cooking' on the couch.
We love you RP and pray for you and your team's safety every day. Thanks for spending your vacation with us. Already counting down the days until we get to play with you some more.
